GE Vernova T&D India Limited Announces Director Appointments
March 21, 2026 – Shareholders of GE Vernova T&D India Limited have approved resolutions through a postal ballot, with the results deemed effective as of Friday, March 20, 2026.The company announced the appointment of Ms. Rashmi Joshi as an Independent Director for a five-year term, commencing March 20, 2026, and concluding March 19, 2031. Ms. Joshi, a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, possesses over three decades of experience in finance across various sectors including Oil & Gas, Lubricants, FMCG, and Pharmaceuticals. She previously served on the boards of Veedol Corporation Limited, Castrol India Limited, Thirdware Solutions Ltd, Godrej Industries Ltd and Castrol Philippines.
Additionally, Mr. Sandeep Zanzaria has been re-appointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for a three-year period, effective April 17, 2026, to April 16, 2029. Mr. Zanzaria brings over 36 years of experience in the Transmission and Distribution sector, previously holding leadership roles at ALSTOM T&D and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited. He is also a National Executive Member of IEEMA since August 2021.
Neither Ms. Joshi nor Mr. Zanzaria are debarred from holding directorships.
