Fujiyama Power Systems Limited Faces Bureau of Indian Standards Search and Seizure

Fujiyama Power Systems Limited announced that the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) initiated a search and seizure operation on March 24, 2026, at a company facility in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. During the operation, BIS seized products valued at Rupees 2.52 Crores (INR 2.52 Crores).

The company stated that it fully cooperated with BIS officials throughout the process, providing all necessary documents and clarifications. Operations at the company are continuing as usual, and there is no material impact on the financials, operations, or other activities of the company.

BIS alleges that Fujiyama Power Systems Limited is not in compliance with BIS standards for certain products, potentially violating Section 28 of the BIS Act, 2016. The company is currently seeking legal advice to facilitate the release of the seized products and maintains that there is no apparent basis to believe that the products violate the BIS regulatory framework.
