Fractal Analytics reported an adjusted EBITDA margin of 17.8%, improving from 17.4% in the previous period, while gross margin stood at 47% during the quarter.The company also recorded profit after tax exceeding ₹100 crore for the quarter.
Research and development remained a key focus area, with R&D spending accounting for 6.8% of revenue.
Fractal ended the quarter with cash and cash equivalents of ₹8,158 million, including liquid investments and bank deposits, providing the company with financial flexibility for expansion.
Strong Growth in Product and Core Segments
Constant currency revenue for the December quarter grew 14% year on year and 5% sequentially, while revenue for the first nine months of FY26 increased 20.2%.Within its product led business, Fractal Alpha reported revenue growth of 51% to ₹66.4 crore during the nine month period.
The segment also saw profitability improvement, with gross margin expanding by 276 basis points to 70%, while losses narrowed to ₹10.2 crore from ₹21.1 crore a year earlier.
Healthcare Leads Sectoral Growth
Among industry verticals, healthcare recorded the fastest growth with revenue rising 78% year on year.Other key sectors also showed solid expansion:
- BFSI: Revenue grew 26% year on year
- Consumer packaged goods: Revenue rose 14%
Americas Remains the Largest Market
From a regional perspective, the Americas remained the largest contributor, accounting for 69% of total revenue, with 26% year on year growth.Europe also recorded 26% growth, while Asia Pacific revenue declined 6% year on year, contributing around 12% of total revenue.
Client Base Expansion
Fractal Analytics continues to expand its high value client base.The company currently has:
- 58 clients generating more than $1 million in annual revenue
- Eight clients contributing over $5 million annually
- Six clients generating more than $10 million each year
- Consumer packaged goods and retail: 36%
- Technology, media and telecom: 25%
- Healthcare and life sciences: 20%
- BFSI: 12%
- Other sectors: 7%
AI Consulting Strategy and Market Opportunity
Fractal Analytics operates across AI led consulting services and product platforms, focusing on delivering customized artificial intelligence solutions.Instead of competing directly with large general purpose models developed by major technology firms, the company positions itself as a specialist provider that builds industry specific AI applications for regulated sectors, integrating large language models such as GPT and Gemini with domain focused consulting expertise.
The company estimates its serviceable addressable market at approximately $85 billion in FY2025, which is projected to expand to nearly $171 billion by FY2030.
Stock Performance
Despite the strong operational performance, the stock has remained under pressure.Fractal Analytics shares closed 3.60% lower at ₹758 on Thursday, remaining below the issue price of ₹900.
The stock has declined about 7% over the last five trading sessions.
