
EaseMyTrip Foundation Signs MoU with Delhi PWD for Urban Enhancement of Key Flyovers
The EaseMyTrip Foundation has formalized a partnership with the Public Works Department (PWD), Government of Delhi, through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration marks a significant effort towards enhancing urban infrastructure and promoting sustainable city development in the national capital.As part of this strategic agreement, the EaseMyTrip Foundation will assume responsibility for the adoption, upkeep, and aesthetic improvement of two major flyovers: the Mayur Vihar Phase 1 Flyover and the Apsara Flyover.
The MoU signing ceremony saw the presence of dignitaries, including Smt. Rekha Gupta, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi, and Shri Parvesh Verma, the Hon'ble Cabinet Minister (PWD), alongside other senior officials. This initiative underscores the growing significance of public private partnerships in driving civic transformation.
Under the terms of the agreement, the EaseMyTrip Foundation will spearhead the beautification and maintenance activities at the designated locations. The focus of the effort will be on boosting greenery and landscaping around the flyovers, ensuring consistent cleanliness adhering to PWD standards, and elevating the overall visual appeal through sustainable urban interventions.
Rikant Pittie, CEO and Co-Founder of EaseMyTrip, commented on the development, stating the partnership aligns with the company's philosophy of generating impact through action. He mentioned that the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to building cleaner, greener, and more thoughtfully designed urban spaces.

Previously, the Foundation was associated with the Government of India's Adopt a Heritage 2.0 programme. Through this program, efforts have been directed towards enhancing infrastructure, wayfinding, and the visitor experience at sites such as Agra Fort, Qutub Minar, Western Group of Temples, Khajuraho, and Sun Temple. These initiatives concentrate on improving on-ground amenities, signage, and visitor engagement while promoting responsible tourism practices.
Through these undertakings and other ongoing environmental and community programmes, including plantation drives and awareness campaigns, the EaseMyTrip Foundation continues to expand its Corporate Social Responsibility footprint, supporting EaseMyTrip's commitment to responsible growth.
