Deepak Fertilisers Subsidiary Sees Reduction in Tax Demand​

Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd. announced a reduction in a tax demand against its wholly-owned material subsidiary, Mahadhan AgriTech Limited. The initial assessment order from the Assistant Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Audit)-6, DGSTO-6, Bengaluru, had raised a demand of ₹1,84,40,339.

Following an application for rectification filed under Section 161 of the CGST Act, 2017, the Tax Authority revised the demand, decreasing it to ₹1,04,048. The rectification order was received by the company at 2:56 p.m. on March 25, 2026.
