Container Corporation of India Appoints New Government Director
Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR), a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) of the Government of India, announced the appointment of a new part-time Government Director to its Board. The change was communicated by the Ministry of Railways (MOR) through order number 2022/PL/57/10, dated March 19, 2026.Shri Rahul Agarwal, Principal Executive Director TT(M) at the Railway Board, has been appointed as the new Government Director, replacing Shri Prabhas Dansana. The appointment is effective immediately and will continue until Shri Agarwal holds the post of Principal Executive Director TT(M), Railway Board, or further orders are issued.
CONCOR stated that the necessary procedures for the appointment will be completed in accordance with the Companies Act 2013 and SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, with required disclosures to be filed with the Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. and National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. within the stipulated timeframe.
