Centrum Capital Limited Transfers Merchant Banking Division to Centrum Broking Limited​

Centrum Capital Limited announced that a Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) to transfer and sell its Merchant Banking Division to Centrum Broking Limited, a subsidiary of Centrum Capital Limited, has become effective. The transfer is structured as a slump sale of the division on an ‘as-is-where-is’ basis.

The company had previously disclosed its intention to enter into the BTA on January 30, 2026. As part of the transaction, Centrum Capital Limited is also applying for the surrender of its Certificate of Registration as a Merchant Banker obtained under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Merchant Bankers) Regulations, 1992.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has approved the surrender of Centrum Capital Limited’s Certificate of Registration as a Merchant Banker, according to a letter dated March 20, 2026.
