Bosch Limited and Tata AutoComp Systems Announce Joint Venture to Accelerate E-Mobility Growth​

Bengaluru, India – Bosch Limited and Tata AutoComp Systems Limited (TACO) have announced a joint venture aimed at expanding growth opportunities within India’s e-mobility segment. The partners plan to hold equal shares in the joint venture, which is expected to commence operations by mid-2026, pending regulatory approvals.

Guruprasad Mudlapur, President of the Bosch Group in India and Managing Director of Bosch Limited, stated that the joint venture is designed to accelerate the adoption of e-mobility technologies by delivering efficient, state-of-the-art solutions. The joint venture will focus on engineering, manufacturing, and sales of eAxle systems and electric motors in India, with a registered office in Pune.

Sandeep Nelamangala, Joint Managing Director of Bosch Limited and President of Mobility solutions India, noted that the venture will provide customers with cutting-edge global solutions produced locally in India.

Arvind Goel, Vice Chairman of Tata AutoComp, emphasized the collaboration’s potential to develop advanced e-mobility solutions for the Indian market.

Bosch has invested over 6 billion euros globally in e-mobility. The partnership aims to leverage stronger opportunities for Bosch’s business in India and deliver locally manufactured, cutting-edge global solutions, including engineering and manufacturing expertise.

In fiscal year 2024-25, Bosch Limited reported net revenue of 373,457 million INR (approximately 4.13 billion euros) and employed 38,655 associates. Bosch Limited’s revenue from operations was Rs. 18,087 crores (1,985 million euros).
