Borosil stated that production at its borosilicate glass furnace used for pressware products has been temporarily suspended due to the supply disruption.At the same time, opal glass furnaces at the Jaipur facility are operating at reduced capacities, reflecting the ongoing fuel constraints affecting operations.
Company Working With Authorities to Restore LPG Supply
The company said it is actively coordinating with oil marketing companies and government authorities to secure the LPG required for its manufacturing processes.Borosil emphasized that LPG remains critical for maintaining furnace operations, and efforts are underway to ensure production continues wherever possible.

On Wednesday, shares of Borosil Ltd. closed 1.09% higher at ₹256.Despite the recent gain, the stock has declined around 8% so far in 2026, reflecting broader pressure on the share price this year.
