Birlasoft Announces Leadership Changes
Birlasoft Limited announced several leadership changes on March 30, 2026, following the resignations of key personnel. The company’s Board of Directors approved the appointments to fill the vacated roles, all effective April 1, 2026.Ms. Priti Kataria resigned as Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Management Personnel, citing personal reasons. Mr. Arun Rao has been appointed as her successor. Mr. Rao most recently held the role of Group Head - Leadership Development at the CKA Birla Group. He brings over three decades of experience in human resources and leadership development.
Mr. Selvakumaran Mannappan also resigned as Chief Operating Officer, citing personal reasons. Mr. Vikram Puranik has been appointed as his replacement. Mr. Puranik most recently served as Senior Vice President - Engineering at GlobalLogic. He has over two decades of experience across global IT services organizations.
Finally, Mr. Manjunath Kygonahally resigned as Chief Executive Officer - Rest of the World & Global Head - Strategic Growth Initiatives, citing personal reasons.
