Belrise Industries Limited Acquires Chester Hall Precision Engineering
National, 18th March 2026: Belrise Industries Limited (BIL), a leading Indian automotive component manufacturer, announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Belrise UK Holdings Limited, has acquired 100% of Chester Hall Precision Engineering Holdings Limited (Chester Hall), a United Kingdom-based precision engineering group. The acquisition marks BIL’s entry into the global aerospace, space, and defence precision engineering supply chain.Chester Hall specializes in machining aerostructures, aero-engine components, and satellite parts, serving major aerospace customers. The company possesses expertise across aerospace alloys, including titanium and high-grade aluminum, and provides concurrent design and development services.
The acquisition was completed at an EV/EBITDA multiple of 6x and is expected to be both EPS-accretive and ROCE accretive from day one. A deferred consideration will be based on Chester Hall’s CY26 performance.
Chester Hall reports revenues of £18.5 million GBP and an enterprise value of £13.2 million GBP.
The acquisition is expected to deliver strategic value to Belrise through access to advanced aerospace precision manufacturing capabilities, a platform to serve global aerospace OEMs, and integration of Belrise's manufacturing capabilities in India and France with Chester Hall’s engineering expertise.
Mr. Sumedh Badve, Head of Strategy, Belrise Industries Limited, stated that the acquisition is an important step in building a diversified global engineering group.
The acquisition will create a cross-border engineering platform anchored in India's manufacturing scale and elevated by Chester Hall's precision capabilities.
