Ahmedabad, March 23, 2026 – Bharti Airtel announced today the deployment of over 2,750 new 5G sites across Gujarat over the past 12 months, significantly enhancing network speed, coverage, and customer experience.

The network expansion now extends coverage to more than 41 million customers across 36 districts, encompassing major cities, towns, and rural villages. Airtel is adding eight new sites daily, facilitating smoother streaming, faster downloads, and reliable digital services for users.

Key districts benefiting from the expanded coverage include Ahmedabad, Baroda, Rajkot, and Surat. This improved infrastructure supports the digital needs of citizens, students, businesses, and government institutions.

"Data consumption across Gujarat continues to grow rapidly, and our focus is to stay ahead of this demand by consistently strengthening our network," said Adarsh Verma, CEO - Gujarat, Bharti Airtel. "The addition of over 2,750 new 5G sites across the state will deliver faster speeds, wider coverage and a superior connectivity experience for millions of customers."

To enhance accessibility, Airtel now provides a fully unlimited data plan in its ₹399 recharge pack for smartphone users. Investments in network density across rural areas, highways, and economic corridors ensure robust connectivity, even in high-usage zones.
