Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited Appoints New Company Secretary
Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited announced changes to its leadership team on March 24, 2026. Ms. Sonia Bhandari’s tenure as Interim Company Secretary and Compliance Officer concluded on April 19, 2026. Simultaneously, Mr. Rameez Shaikh has been appointed as the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, effective April 20, 2026.Mr. Shaikh, who holds Membership No. A24939, also assumes the roles of Key Managerial Personnel, Senior Management Personnel, and Nodal Officer, also beginning April 20, 2026. He brings over 16 years of experience in corporate secretarial, legal, and compliance functions. Previously, he served as Company Secretary & Head - Legal at Safari Industries India Ltd. since February 2018, overseeing the company’s NSE listing and implementation of ESOP/ESAR frameworks. He also held positions at Raymond Limited and Cipla. Mr. Shaikh holds a master's degree in Business Law from National Law School of India University - Bengaluru and an LLB.
The Board of Directors has authorized Mr. Shaikh, along with other Key Managerial Personnel, to determine the materiality of events and make disclosures to stock exchanges, starting April 20, 2026.
The Board meeting commenced at 12:50 p.m. and concluded at 1:05 p.m.
