
Ahmedabad, February 5, 2026: Suzlon Energy Limited (INE040H01021) shares traded sharply lower on Thursday, slipping over 4 percent in intraday trade, as investors reacted to the company’s standalone financial performance for the quarter ended December 31, 2025.
The stock was trading at ₹47.64, down ₹2.13 or 4.28 percent, after touching an intraday low of ₹47, compared with the previous close of ₹49.77. Trading data showed persistent selling pressure through the session, with the stock remaining below its volume-weighted average price.
Standalone Q3 Performance Highlights
Suzlon Energy reported standalone revenue from operations of ₹3,788.79 crore in the December 2025 quarter, marking a strong year-on-year growth from ₹2,762.60 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income for the quarter stood at ₹3,824.98 crore.However, on a sequential basis, profitability weakened.
Net profit after tax came in at ₹282.47 crore, down sharply from ₹1,286.60 crore reported in the September 2025 quarter, reflecting margin pressures and higher cost absorption. Profit before tax declined to ₹402.30 crore from ₹568.69 crore in the previous quarter.

Cost Pressures Impact Margins
Total expenses for the quarter rose to ₹3,400.80 crore, driven largely by higher raw material consumption and employee benefit costs. While revenue growth remained robust, the rise in operating costs weighed on sequential profitability, which appeared to be the key trigger for the negative stock reaction.For the nine months ended December 31, 2025, Suzlon Energy posted a standalone net profit of ₹1,916.42 crore, significantly higher than ₹930.46 crore reported in the same period last year, indicating sustained improvement on an annual basis despite quarterly volatility.
