Hyderabad, February 9, 2026: Bartronics India Limited (BSE: 532694, NSE: ASMS) on Monday announced the appointment of Dr. Raja Krishna Murthy as Head – Agri Tech Business, a move aimed at accelerating the company’s expansion into agri-tech and climate-focused platforms under Project Avio Agritech.

Strategic Leadership to Drive Agri-Tech and Climate Growth

The appointment strengthens Bartronics’ senior leadership at a time when the company is scaling Project Avio Agritech, its integrated agri-tech platform designed to create new and scalable revenue streams. The initiative spans agri-commerce, sustainable agriculture, digital advisory services, and climate and carbon solutions, while leveraging Bartronics’ extensive rural footprint.

Project Avio Agritech is positioned as a key growth engine, intended to monetise the company’s last-mile reach by enabling structured agri-value chains, carbon aggregation, and climate-aligned outcomes linked to global markets.

Deep Experience in Agribusiness and Climate Programs

Dr. Raja Krishna Murthy is a Gold Medalist Ph.D. in Agribusiness Management with over 21 years of experience across agribusiness transformation, climate-smart and regenerative agriculture, ESG-aligned initiatives, and carbon market operations.

His professional background includes work with several multilateral and international institutions such as UNICEF, the World Bank, USAID, GIZ, IFAD, the Asian Development Bank, DFID, UNIDO, and the European Union. Over his career, he has led large-scale, outcome-driven programs across Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

According to the company, Dr. Raja has directly impacted more than 2.8 lakh farmers, with broader leadership exposure covering over one million farmers globally. His experience also includes execution of carbon and methane reduction projects aligned with globally recognised frameworks, strengthening Bartronics’ ambitions in climate and carbon-led solutions.

Leveraging a Large Rural Network

Bartronics’ agri and carbon strategy is anchored in its established rural infrastructure, which connects with approximately 40 million farmers across around 5,000 villages through its financial inclusion and last-mile service network.

Project Avio Agritech is designed to capitalise on this reach by improving farm productivity and resilience, enhancing farmer incomes, and creating commercially viable agri and climate solutions aligned with international markets.

Management Commentary

Commenting on the appointment, Vidhya Sagar Reddy, Managing Director of Bartronics India Limited, said the agri-tech initiative represents a long-term growth opportunity as the company expands beyond financial inclusion into agriculture, climate, and carbon-led platforms. He added that Dr. Raja’s academic credentials, global institutional exposure, and hands-on execution experience bring strong strategic and operational leadership to scale the vertical sustainably.

Dr. Raja Krishna Murthy said Bartronics’ deep rural presence, trusted farmer relationships, and technology-first approach provide a strong foundation to build scalable agri and climate solutions. He noted that his focus will be on translating this reach into high-impact, globally aligned programs that deliver measurable value for farmers, partners, and the company.
